Hypnosis is not magic, it’s science! It works by creating a burst of brain waves that are the same as when you’re in REM (rapid eye movement). These brain waves allow you to access your subconscious mind. RTT is very easy and safe anyone can do it, you will see for yourself when you do it too!
It is between 90 mins to 2.5 hours (we ask that you keep 2.5 hours available so that you do not feel rushed).
The experience feels different for everyone. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Others may feel sleepy, some may not. Most people feel extremely relaxed and at ease. It’s not important how you feel but to realise that regardless of how you feel, its defiantly working
Many people get nervous as soon as they hear the word hypnotise. This misconception arises from TV shows. I would like to reassure you that you are in full control of the whole session, you can talk, you will hear me talk, you can move. You cannot be made to do things that you do not want to do. You will be relaxed, calm and incomplete tune with yourself. Your comfort, safety, and confidence of utmost importance for me
Depending on the issue, you will normally need between 1 to 3 sessions.
There are 3 types of changes that you could see from RTT as every client is different:
- immediate: You will feel a massive shift right away, immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts, and behaviours right in the session.
- Incremental: You will see consistent shifts every day, or over time.
- Retroactive: You will not see the shift right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all the things that are different in your life.
The first difference is that RTT aims to deliver permanent change in a single 90 minute- 2.5 hour session keeping in mind that each client is different and so is their issues. Therefore, depending on the client and the issue may need up to 3 sessions.
The second difference is that RTT is a method that truly empower clients. It honours and values the significance clients attach to their issues/problems and then offers as a powerful emotional release for them. They can be free from pain.
The third difference is that RTT uses Command Cell therapy as a modality for purposefully healing the body, as opposed to positive conditioning alone.
Lastly, RTT draws out ‘unfinished business’, meaning it is a technique for addressing the trauma that clients have been holding onto for many years.
No! You are in complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body or get a tissue.
If you go back to memories from your life that are related to events like sexual or physical abuse, or other trauma, it’s important to remember that you are not reliving that scene, you are simply reviewing it and you are safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal, you’ll be OK.
Online sessions are available via Zoom, and this technique is equally as effective as face-to-face sessions. Zoom is a free platform and full instructions will be provided to you when you book your appointment.
